Dear Valued Client,

Given our position as a leading provider of Occupational Health services and a trusted advisor to our clients and their employees, as you would expect we have been closely monitoring the information available from credible sources on the COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation.

Many clients have reached out to us for advice and support as they craft their responses to this emerging crisis. In response, we have developed three initiatives that address the common themes of these client conversations.

  1. Policy support and employee communications
We have arranged for clients to have access to Dr. Scott Cherry, our Chief Medical Officer and a respected authority on Occupational Health, to help develop policies that will protect the health of their workforce. We have also authored an E-book on the coronavirus that can be used by clients in employee communications, and we will keep this resource updated as the situation develops.
  2. New service offering
Clients have asked us to manage the process of evaluating employees exposed to or exhibiting symptoms that might indicate they are already infected with, COVID-19, and subsequently manage their absence from and return to work. We have established a dedicated service that does exactly this, quickly and efficiently, reducing the burden on client HR and Management teams, protecting clients from having to deal with Protected Personal Health Information that they ordinarily shouldn’t have access to, and ensuring that client policies are consistently applied. We have also priced this service as low as we feasibly can, recognizing the financial stress that COVID-19 is causing many organizations.
  3. Alternative Billing Model
Some clients have indicated that, given the uncertainty that COVID-19 has introduced into the economy and the increasing probability that it will cause a recession in the short term, the variability of Axiom billing based on utilization in a given month poses a challenge for them. We do have an alternative billing model that addresses this challenge – we can bill on a Per Employee Per Month basis instead. PEPM billing effectively guarantees that every month’s payment will be the same, smoothing out the billing peaks and troughs that occur through seasonality or just random chance, and helping with cashflow. It also means that, in the unfortunate event that a client has to reduce their workforce due to adverse trading conditions, our billing will decrease predictably as the employee count decreases.

If any or all of these initiatives sound interesting to you, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your Account manager, or call us at our Houston office number (281) 465 -7530.

With our best regards,

Mark Robinson, President and CEO at Axiom Medical
