What Axiom Medical Means to Me

by | Dec 7, 2022 | Axiom Medical, Personal Story

Axiom Medical Consulting has impressed me since the day I started with the company nearly five years ago. The major core competencies that drew me to join the company are the ability to provide highly effective employee health services across North America on demand around the clock 24/7/365 and the ability for the company to scale for 1000s of clients as those clients’ needs fluctuate.

The last two years have been an extraordinary journey, as Axiom has been nimble and scalable to deal with the ever-evolving Covid pandemic. There have been numerous iterations of our contagious illness assessment programs as Covid has been better understood as a disease. Coupling with the massive surges of the different variants, it has been an amazing accomplishment to effectively manage hundreds of thousands of cases over this time.

Additionally, with the CDC Director recently admitting the CDC was/is not prepared to provide actionable information for Covid and now new outbreaks including polio and smallpox, it is even more impressive that Axiom has been able to navigate the known and unknown aspects of the science and provide actionable guidance, programs, and services when the preeminent U.S. agency for disease and illness prevention has admitted being ineffective for real-time operational needs for business continuity.

Lastly, as Axiom Medical moves into behavioral health services and programs, it is extremely rewarding to be part of this movement into employee and population mental health. Looking at the trends of how the country’s mental health has high levels of stress, anxiety, and depression, it is clear there is a need to address this within the populations we serve.
